EU mission in Libya warns of tough whether conditions in the country

hi In a post on its official Facebook page, the European Union mission warned of severe drought that will affect Libya, in addition to water scarcity, wildfires, rising sea levels, floods, catastrophic storms that lead to a decline in biodiversity, and challenges in growing food.

The EU mission indicated that Libya is one of the countries that are most affected by the climate chage and rising temperatures, and called on Libyans and the Libyan authorities to consider climate change and plan to mitigate its severe effects on the country.

It is noteworthy that several Libyan regions have been exposed to a dust storm, which has caused severe damage to infrastructure and property.
