Tripoli saw military movements amid reports of large military convoys carrying heavy and medium weapons leaving several cities in the western region, heading towards the capital.
Informed sources added that armed convoys crossed the Al-Sawani area, which included more than 100 armed vehicles towards the capital, and other forces were stationed in front of the External Security headquarters before the highway opening.
This tension comes days after the members of the Eastern Region at the 5+5 Joint Military Commission suspended their work, accusing the Dabaiba government of undermining stability and plunging the country into war.
