The fact-finding mission of the United Nations Human Rights Committee in Libya has finalized the final list of the most prominent war criminals and perpetrators of crimes against humanity in Libya.
According to what was reported by the “Libya Observer”, diplomatic sources revealed that the United Nations committee has finished drawing up the list and will announce it on 06 July.
The mission, based on its 2021 special report, had previously decided not to publish a list of individuals and groups involved in violations and abuses committed in Libya since 2016, after documenting evidence of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
At that time, this list remained confidential until the need would arise to publish it or share it with other bodies that could hold those responsible to account.
