An informed source working at As Sidr port said in an exclusive statement to 218News that the tanker “Vision” entered the docking area on Monday despite the protesters’ announcement of stopping operations.
Speaking to 218News, the source added that the tanker was preparing to load one million barrels of oil, but it was still awaiting approval from the Waha Company, which operates the largest oil port in the country.
Protesters announced, last week, the suspension of operations in As Sidr, demanding better management of oil revenues by the Prime Minister of the Unity Government, Abdel Hamid Dabaiba, and the dismissal of the head of the National Oil Corporation, Mustafa Sanalla.
